On Tuesday evening, March 28, a car driver, passing near Larisa, collided with a wild boar that unexpectedly jumped out onto the highway.
According to onlarissa.gr, the traffic accident happened shortly before 12 midnight on the Larisa-Thessaloniki highway, at the height of Kouloury, when the driver ran into a wild boar. Luckily the driver was not injured. However, the vehicle was damaged.
Environmental organizations and environmentalists are sounding the alarm. So many wild boars have bred in Greece that they have become pose a real threat. In addition, in the increased collisions with wild boars on the roads, there are human sacrifice.
