On New Year’s Eve in Larisa and Volos, dozens of young people ended up in the hospital due to excessive alcohol consumption.
There were too many calls to ΕΚΑΒ for help after drinking on New Year’s Eve and January 1st. The authorities are concerned that most of the calls were for young people. Many of them ended up in the hospital.
According to www.larissa.net, ambulance crews in two towns traveled incessantly, especially in Volos, and the ambulance telephone literally “hot” with calls for first aid to drunken young people.
This caused concern in local communities – about the immoderate drinking of young people and doubts about the quality of the alcohol they consume, writes newsbeast.gr.
