Gypsies: They burned, bombed, shot, robbed, and not a single one was arrested. The government is watching…

The strange attitude of the Mitsotakis government towards the riots and pogroms organized by the gypsies made a strong impression on the citizens of Greece, as in recent days the Roma have set many fires throughout Greece and destroyed public and private property, while not a single one of them was arrested.

Gypsies burned private and public property and destroyed infrastructure, blew up dozens and hundreds of “targets” with Molotov cocktails, shot police officers, blocked national highways and major roads such as Mesogion Avenue in Athens, and the government ordered the police not to arrest anyone and just… observe!

The question that arises for everyone is what would happen if there were Turks in the place of the gypsies? Would we give up?

Why should the Greek people think that they will resist the Turks when they dare not defend their citizens and property and arrest the guilty Gypsies for fear that “things will get worse”?

The idiosyncratic immunity of the Roma militants remains, and the government appears to be unable to control the crisis, which, until it is stopped, could take the form of a general uprising.

In addition, it creates bad precedents for the future, that everyone will be able to do what they want, destroy what they want, violate the Criminal Code and not bear any consequences.

Over the past 24 hours, the Roma have been subjected to a flurry of natural disasters and incidents targeting people’s businesses and property.

Characteristically, what happened on a Wednesday evening in December, when groups of Roma broke into tire shops on Nato Avenue in Aspropyrgos, which they set on fire, resulted in a cocktail of fire and smoke, forcing the authorities to send a message to 112 to inform the residents wider area about the dangers of burning tire fumes.

They acted similarly in Rome and Cordelio, also on Wednesday evening, when they beat and wounded workers in a restaurant because they were told there were no tables available.

The intention of the Roma to hold a mass rally in Thessaloniki on Friday, the day when the 32-year-old policeman is expected to be pardoned, is noted, as well as the statement of the cousin of 16-year-old Kostas Fragulis, who is in the intensive care unit of the Hippocratio hospital, that “we will take the law into our own hands » in case the policeman is not punished.

In other words, a certain social group blackmails the whole state blackmails, And tomorrow (if it is possible) another social group will do it. And the government goes along with what is happening, without doing anything and, moreover, without providing what it is obliged to: the safety of citizens.

As it became known, at 22:00 in Ano Lución, the gypsies stopped the bus, pushed the passengers out of it and set it on fire. The incident occurred at the intersection of Filis Avenue and Justinianu Street. There were no injuries, the fire was put out by the fire department.

At 11:30 pm on Wednesday, a group of unidentified men stopped a truck moving in the Agalio area, pushed the 42-year-old driver out, beat him and set fire to his car, which was completely burned down.

Then, according to ELAS, unidentified persons fired from a hunting carbine at police officers of the OPKE, who rushed to the scene, on this time no casualties. The driver of the car was taken to Nicaea Central Government Hospital for first aid.

A little later, at 00:30, also at the Agalio Ring Road, unknown persons immobilized a 62-year-old man and took away his professional equipment, money and personal belongings. The man was taken to the CAT in an EKAV ambulance, as he was also beaten.

In doing so, the Roma use traditional tactics and on several occasions put underage children in front of them as a shield to ensure that there is no reaction from the police. Probably, the government did not understand exactly who it was dealing with …

Despite this, the state should protect citizens, but it does not.

Now anyone in any part of the country is at risk of being beaten, robbed, or worse.

2 days ago, a video appeared on the network from the face of an elderly gypsy, in which he calls for the killing of policemen – “Let their mothers cry.”

Dionysios Bekios, in a public statement on social media regarding an injured 16-year-old in Thessaloniki, insulted the police and called for a merciless riot. “Roma, all gypsies, wherever you are, we must make a catastrophe in Greece. Burn, block roads, burn cars, do a lot for the sake of a 16-year-old child. Shame on the police, @@@ their mothers, burn them.. Like they killed the baby too, let their mothers cry too.. @@@ who wear uniforms they don’t respect.. @@@@” …
After the video became resonant, Dionysius Bekios was arrested, but according to the editors, he had already been released from prison. The prosecutor (or those who called him from above) decided not to aggravate …

Editorial opinion: Mitsotakis faces a difficult choice – to organize repressions against the rioters, which the opposition SIRIZA will immediately take advantage of, which put on the gypsies as its voters, using the slogan BLM, in the version of Roma Live Meters (RLM) exploiting and also get a shout from Brussels, for human rights violations and racism, or violently suppress the riot, and put the criminals in jail. And it seems that this choice gravitates towards the first option.
