Drove 1 km in the opposite lane and died in an accident

The management and staff of the hospital “Gennimata” declared mourning in connection with the death of 29-year-old medical specialist Anna Tselepi, who tragically died in a car accident in the area of Imittos.

The woman died early on Thursday morning when, at 5 a.m., apparently by mistake, she drove in the opposite direction for one kilometer along the Imittos ring road in her carresulting in a collision with a taxi. In a terrible accident, a young woman received injuries incompatible with life.

Apparently, the doctor must have turned left earlier on her way up from Kaysariani to get onto the ring road, as a result of which she ended up in the oncoming traffic. About a kilometer later, just before the toll road to Attica, there was a fatal accident.

In the Gennimatas hospital, in the pathology clinic, where the graduate of the university was undergoing residency, the news of her tragic death hit like a lightning bolt. Everyone talks about an excellent scientist and a very good colleague on a professional level and in a friendly way.

The unfortunate young woman did not work that evening, although she remained at work for a long time (until 5 am). The Greek Federation of Associations of Hospital Physicians (Ομοσπονδία Ενώσεων Νοσοκομειακών Γιατρών Ελλάδας) expressed condolences to the family and friends of the untimely deceased colleague.
