The passenger bit the controller, kicked him and tried to jump out the window

On Thursday morning, the court considered the incredible incident that took place on a city bus in Thessaloniki, the protagonists of which were a student and the controller of public urban transport in Thessaloniki ΟΑΣΘ.

The accused, now in her 30s, inflicted light injuries on a 54-year-old city bus controller. Remember, this was in 2016. A 23-year-old student (at that time) was sentenced to three months in prison, suspended for three years. The case was considered in the second instance.

In particular, according to Mega, it all happened in September, when the then student got on the ΟΑΣΘ bus. During the trip, two inspectors approached her for a routine check, while the girl did not have a ticket.

When the inspectors asked for her details in order to issue a fine, she screamed and hit one of the two. The bus stopped and the girl tried to escape through the window of the vehicle. And when they began to hold her, she bit the inspector, hitting him in the face and chest. The instigator of the riot claimed both then and today that the controller illegally kept her on the bus for 15 minutes and she felt threatened. She had a panic attack due to the fact that “she was forcibly restrained.”

The court is due to deliver its final verdict on the case today.
