Shooting in the capital of Denmark, among the dead Russian

Three people were killed in a shooting in the Copenhagen shopping center “Fields”, 3 more people were injured, some in critical condition.

A 22-year-old Dane detained by police has been charged with assault. It is possible that it was a terrorist attack. Eyewitnesses say:

We suddenly heard shots. I think they shot ten times, and then we ran through the mall and took cover in the toilet. There were 11 people crammed into this tiny room. It was very hot, and we were waiting there, everyone was very scared. It was terrible.

Hundreds of people came to the concert of British singer Harry Styles at this time, so there were a lot of people. The concert was later cancelled.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen called on fellow citizens to unite and support each other during this difficult time. The leaders of neighboring states expressed their condolences. The attack in Copenhagen comes just over a week after an armed man opened fire outside a nightclub in Oslo, killing two and injuring more than 20 people.

A 47-year-old Russian was among those killed in a shooting at the Fields shopping center in Copenhagen. TASS with reference to the chief inspector of police in Copenhagen, Seren Thomassen:

“Among those killed are a 17-year-old Dane, a 17-year-old Danish woman and a 47-year-old man with Russian citizenship living in Denmark. Four were injured: two Danish citizens and two Swedish citizens.”
