Approval of the sixth package of sanctions against Russia is delayed

Hungary’s objections on a number of issues are delaying the adoption of the sixth package of sanctions against the Russian Federation.

At the meeting of the permanent representatives of the countries EU in Brussels, says Bloomberg citing sources, she expressed several objections – in particular, not to impose sanctions against Patriarch Kirill.

Earlier, EU President Charles Michel said that the process of approving the sixth sanctions package would be completed on Wednesday or Thursday.
