Six newborns are being treated at the Pediatric Department of the University Hospital of Patras.
According to the ERT channel, these are babies between the ages of 14 days and 7 months, including twins at the age of 20 days.
So far, babies are showing mild symptoms of COVID-19. Little patients are closely monitored by doctors who take care of their health condition.
However, there are serious concerns about the coronavirus outbreak in Achaia, where 679 cases were reported yesterday, which thankfully did not affect the local health care system. Doctors report that there are places in the wards.
