Lamda Development is launching its project on December 20, six months earlier than planned, the Experience Park, part of the Elliniko project’s Metropolitan Park. This is the first part of a multi-million dollar project that Lamda is implementing.
Experience Park covers an area of over 7 hectares on the former Athens International Airport, which houses three Air Force hangars, recognized as modern monuments by the Ministry of Culture.
The park is an ideal place for citizens to escape from the daily life of the city. It features an impressive fountain, outdoor sports facilities, a kindergarten and a Zen garden designed to match the natural habitat of the region. A total of 500 trees and 55,000 Mediterranean varieties have been planted and the project has been designed and built according to the principles of sustainable growth.
During the Christmas and New Years season, the impressions park will feature impressive lighting installations, a 17-meter-high Christmas tree and culinary experiences.
