120 migrants from Turkey tried to illegally enter the territory of Greece

At Evros, an attempt by migrants from Turkey to cross the Greek-Turkish border by river was prevented. Two traffickers were arrested.

According to APE-MPE, the arrested, possibly members of a network of slave traders, were detained on Friday morning in Kissario. As it turned out, they transported the migrants in turns on a plastic boat. At the time of the arrest, there were 4 migrants on the boat, another 120 people without legal documents were waiting in Turkey for their turn.

Those arrested were taken to the prosecutor of the first instance court of Orestiada. The Didimotijo ​​Border Agency is conducting an initial investigation.
