Anarchists claim responsibility for attacks on businesses of Hardallas’s wife

An anarchist group has announced through their website that they are taking responsibility for the arson attacks associated with the businesses of the wife of Deputy Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management Nikos Hardallas.

The attack, which took place in the early morning of 23 May, at a gym and children’s clothing store owned by Mr. Hardallas’s wife in the Vironos area, resulted in damage to the building and a small fire.

It is noted that the same group, calling itself the “Proletarian nucleus”, claimed responsibility for the attack on the house of the vice-president of HEDNO.

What happened.

In the early morning of Sunday 23 May, incendiary devices made in the traditional Greek terrorist style of gas cylinders were installed in the gym and children’s clothing store owned by Mr. Hardallas’s wife.

The explosion that followed a few minutes later damaged the facades of the two companies, and also caused a small fire. To extinguish it, 2 fire trucks with crews of 7 people arrived.

Θα σας ξετρυπώσουμε από τα λαγούμια σας, δεν σας φοβόμαστε …

In the video (2:08), a passer-by who saw the fire takes a bottle of water and walks over to extinguish it when the first mechanism explodes. According to Mr. Hardallas, “if he took two more steps, he would be dead.”
