Greece: 3,593 infected, 8 deaths

The number of coronavirus cases on July 27 rose to 3,593 in the last 24 hours as the number of tests hit workday levels again.

Greek health authorities also announced 8 Covid-related deaths in the past 24 hours on Tuesday. The number of intubated Covid patients in inpatient intensive care units has dropped to 142.

A public hospital in Mesolonghi in western Greece ordered an internal investigation after a doctor postponed his routine Covid-19 vaccination but showed up the next day with a vaccination certificate that was most likely fake.
