Greek health authorities also announced 8 Covid-related deaths in the past 24 hours on Tuesday. The number of intubated Covid patients in inpatient intensive care units has dropped to 142.
A public hospital in Mesolonghi in western Greece ordered an internal investigation after a doctor postponed his routine Covid-19 vaccination but showed up the next day with a vaccination certificate that was most likely fake.
