Installation times: taxi drivers are required to install POS terminals and Stick a special sign on your cars within five weeks.
-
Procedure for obtaining signs: The AAΔΕ (Independent Authority for Public Revenue) sends a written invitation to the POΕΙΑΤΑ (Panhellenic Taxi Federation) to receive the signs. The POΕΙΑΤΑ must notify the person responsible for receiving and the method of receiving the signs within five working days.
-
Fines for non-compliance: In case of refusal to receive the badges or the expiry of the deadline, primary trade unions are obliged to notify AAΔΕ within 10 days that they will receive the badges for their members themselves. If taxi drivers do not install POS terminals within the specified deadline, they face a fine of 1,000 euros for each violation.
These measures are aimed at improving customer service and ensuring transparency of financial transactions.
