Putin paid Kim Jong-un with 24 Orlov trotters – The Times unearthed a sensation:
“Kim Jong-un has received a new shipment of horses from Russia, the latest sign of the growing closeness between the North Korean leader and Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to veterinary authorities in Primorsky Krai, which has a rail link to North Korea, 24 horses were transported across the narrow land border.
The 19 stallions and five mares are Orlov Trotters, Kim’s favorite breed, which he has been seen riding in propaganda images released by his regime. Thirty of the breed were previously sent to Pyongyang in 2022. South Korean media reported that the new shipment of horses is part of the payment for North Korean artillery shells sent to the Russian military for use against Ukraine.”
