Which islands did Greek and foreign tourists choose to vacation on August 15?

The Cyclades Islands this year, during the traditional Greek holiday around August 15 (Assumption of the Virgin Mary), were at the top of travelers' preferences.

Paros, Naxos, Mykonos, Santorini and Tinos were the islands that received the most passenger traffic, according to Ferryhopper bookings data from August 14 to 18, 2024. In Northern Greece, the routes with the highest passenger traffic were: Kavala – Lemnos, Alexandroupoli – Samothrace, Volos – Skiathos, Mantoudi – Skopelos and Thessaloniki – Skopelos.
