During the strike meeting of workers on May 1, the fountain on Syntagma was doused with red paint, and it seemed to turn “bloody.” The sight was not pleasant.
Strike meetings of federations and unions of workers on the occasion of Labor Day took place early in the morning in the center of Athens. Thousands of citizens took part in the marches and rallies, and there was no shortage of surprises. For example, demonstrators poured tubes of red paint into the fountain in Syntagma Square, causing all the water to turn red.
According to the information, these people made this movement in solidarity with the civilians who are (and are dying) in the Gaza Strip due to the war that broke out between Israel and Hamas.
Participating in the rally GSEEADEDY and PAME.
