Cyclone Daniel, spreading across the territory of Greece, brought heavy rains and floods.
A driver in Lamia was in danger when heavy rain caused the Xiria River to overflow, sweeping the car away. The bad weather is expected to bring heavy rains and storms, accompanied by hail and lightning, and problems caused by flooding have already been recorded by the fire department.
In particular, the 43-year-old driver tried to cross an accessible (in previous days) dry river bed, but due to a downpour, a stormy stream demolished the car and dragged it at least 200 meters. The victim had to climb onto the roof of the car. In this position, he was caught by firefighters who rushed to save him.
