The last minutes of the lives of 18 migrants who died a few days ago in the Dadia forest were published by the Italian activist Nawal Sufi.
In her social media post, she notes that the materials she publishes are taken from the mobile phones of people who were found burnt. The videos they recorded on their mobile phones were a message to their loved ones and relatives about the situation they were in.

A video posted by Sufi shows the migrants walking through the forest as the flames approach them menacingly. The activist notes in her post: “I received this video from migrant families to reconstruct the last moments of their children’s lives, which they managed to send to them before they died of suffocation. The migrants saw a flame in the distance, but after a while they realized that they were in a death trap” .
