With summer approaching, crowds of tourists are expected to flood the Greek islands for another year in a row.
Restaurant business owners are feverishly preparing for the tourist season and are looking for employees to staff their stores and tourist facilities. Open jobs in some cases offer particularly high wages, such as one of the steakhouses (souvlachna) in Mykonos.
According to the announcement, the barbecue house is looking for an employee for the position (τυλιχτή) with relevant experience of at least 2 years. At the same time, a salary of 3,600 euros per month is guaranteed, i.e. 10 euros per hour. It is reported that “the salary is negotiable.” This means that the catering establishment leaves a window open for negotiations and higher earnings.
