Tremors measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale were recorded today at 19:00 in the sea, off the coast of the islands of Nisyros and Tolos.
The data of the Geodynamic Institute indicate that the depth of the source was 15 km. The epicenter was located at a distance of 23 km south-west of the island of Nisyros and at a similar distance to the west of the island of Tilos.
After the main shock, 18 aftershocks occurred, with a magnitude of up to 3 points on the Richter scale.
