Pontiff Emeritus Benedict XVI has died at the age of 96 at the Vatican.
His health deteriorated in the past week. However, on Friday, the pantiff’s condition was stable, and he even took part in a private mass arranged in his chambers. Earlier, a mass prayer was held in Rome for the former pope.
