Jennifer Aniston "sat down" for frozen cucumbers

Even stars can be tempted to try the trends that come from the world of TikTok, because they are “human too” and nothing human is alien to them.

The Hollywood actress with Greek roots eagerly reaches for everything new, unknown and loves to experiment. Jennifer Aniston tried a life hack with a cucumber and shared her impressions with subscribers. “It’s just brilliant,” she said.

Jennifer Aniston may be relatively new to social media (the actress is known to have given up Instagram in 2020), but even the “diva” isn’t averse to trying out the TikTok beauty trend. Aniston talked about some of the “hacks” that went viral on the internet that “got her attention,” including using frozen cucumbers to smooth out wrinkles.

“Oh my God,” Aniston said as she watched a video of a TikTok user rubbing a frozen cucumber on her face. “She just put a cucumber in the freezer, cut it in half and rubbed it on her face. Frozen cucumber. It’s brilliant,” she continued, noting that she would definitely try it herself.

Videos of people rubbing their skin with peeled frozen cucumbers have been circulating on TikTok for a year now. Users say that the method works great as a moisturizer, as well as “rubbing” reduces the appearance of blemishes (whitens the skin) and eliminates puffiness.

As Jennifer says, there is something about cucumbers that makes them good for the skin. Cucumbers contain cucumber acid, which has anti-inflammatory properties that soothe redness, acne and swelling, and are also 90% moisturizing and skin-protecting minerals and vitamins that act as antioxidants.
