The United Nations General Assembly unanimously adopted a resolution proposed by Greece on the “return or restitution of cultural property to countries of origin”.
Greece’s three-year resolution has been backed by an unprecedented number of 111 countries, the Foreign Ministry said on Twitter on Tuesday.
The resolution was adopted at a plenary meeting on Monday, the statement said.
