On Sunday, August 25, former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was “discovered” in Karystos Hospital.
According to the medical facility staff, writes CNN Greece, he was there because of his son – he had a little “mishap” and doctors had to stitch up the wound the child received.
The former British Prime Minister thanked them for their assistance and congratulated them on the high level of services at the hospital. The event was commented on by Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis:
“Today at midday, 25/08/2024, former UK Prime Minister @BorisJohnson visited the GN-KY Karystou Emergency Department, accompanying his 6-year-old son, to provide him with the necessary first aid after an injury. We took care of him, as we do with all our patients. Mr Johnson is resting in Karystou with his family. Upon his departure from GN-KYKarystou, he warmly thanked the medical and nursing staff, was very kind and even emphasized that the services provided to him by the NHS are superior to those in the UK. We wish the Johnson family all the best.”
