Elections, elections, candidates…

As Kamala Harris enters the presidential race, She has not yet expressed her position on the issue of cryptocurrencies. In human terms, she hasn’t yet been told whether she is “for” or “against”, which is in sharp contrast to Donald Trump's active stance.

At a recent crypto conference in August 2024, which Trump also attended, it was clear that his party sees crypto as the future (which is not the case for elections). Trump called crypto a “fraud” during his first term, and a lot of water has flowed under the bridge since then.

Now Trump has radically changed his views on digitalization (perhaps Trump and the “digitalists” have become friends, and Trump’s new presidential term will be radically different), his position on this issue was clearly and distinctly formulated and expressed.

Trump has learned from many of the mistakes of the last election (including cats, dogs, and dead people voting by mail and from different places), and he will not allow that to happen again. He also said that on the first day of his presidency he will fire Gerry Gensler for his 4 years of harassing crypto.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer spoke at the Crypto4Harris virtual event, hosted by Harris’s supporters in the cryptocurrency industry, saying that Congress may still pass the law (or may not) on cryptocurrency by the end of this year. While other Democrats at the event tried to assure that Harris would support crypto initiatives, she herself has yet to voice her position. Against this backdrop, Trump continues to strengthen his position among cryptocurrency supporters, which is putting pressure on Harris to take a clear position.

Schumer and other Democrats hopethat the new bill, Maybewill be adopted this year, but this remains in question due to the upcoming election. While Harris remains hesitant about cryptocurrencies, Trump has long had his views and is vocal about them.

Until Harris makes her position clear on cryptocurrencies, she will be judged through the lens of the Biden administration's policies, which have been marked by litigation and a lack of specific regulation in this area of the crypto community, if she fails to make a position soon.

Have you noticed what a determined woman is speaking out against Trump?! She will confidently and happily say everything that the puppeteers write to her. The only problem is that not everything is smooth within the Democratic Party either.

Author's opinion: the ability to quickly change one's position in politics is a highly technical art that not everyone can master. A vivid representative of such tactics was the unforgettable V.V. Zhirinovsky. However, the Democrats seem to be experiencing difficulties in this election cycle: either the grandfather made a mistake, or the auntie giggles for no reason, and Trump still has not been eliminated. How to deal with this situation? Even with the fake ratings showing Harris “winning”, it's not that simple… And I wouldn't be surprised if this election doesn't happen at all.
