Fire brigades across the country are on high alert as dry, hot weather, coupled with strong winds, creates conditions ripe for fires.
Already in the morning of June 19, in several regions of the country, 112 rescue signal about fires. In particular in connection with fire in Varis Koropi, and residents of the Lambrika area were advised to evacuate to Agia Marina Avenue.
The fire reportedly broke out in an area of dry grass on the Waris-Koropi side road on the way to the airport, at a boat parking lot.
