A 21-year-old girl, a resident of Kalamata, fell from a cliff under unclear circumstances, receiving a fatal injury.
The local community of Kalamata is shocked by the death of a young girl, which occurred late on Friday, June 14, on Verga Beach. According to Messinialive.gr, the fire brigade, emergency services and police arrived at the scene to carry out operational work.
Doctors found signs of life in the victim. The girl was taken to Kalamata Hospital with serious injuries, where she sadly died due to severe head injuries. According to the same source, earlier witnesses reported that they saw her walking towards the cliff in tears, and was apparently in a serious psychological state.
The Kalamata Police Department is conducting a preliminary investigation.
