The Greek TV channel Mega published a video filmed by surveillance cameras, which shows how 2 car thieves opened a car in 3 minutes and stole it.

The video captured the actions of two men early Wednesday morning. Time – 04:37, Liosion street. Both criminals were close to their target. The taxi appeared to be part of the plan, and it contained an observer.

The thieves have chosen a black SUV and are trying to figure out how to get it onto the road. They approach the car in front, break the window and release the parking brake.

The car begins to roll backwards. One person pushes him and the other looks left and right. They make room and head to the black car they need. In 3 minutes they manage to break open the driver's door and get into the car.

“This is a new car. We sell cars, we bring them from outside. The car is not even a month old. I cleared it through customs, paid for it, all the documents were in order, it was ready for sale,” – says the car owner. “From the moment he gets into the driver's seat, it only takes him 12 seconds to start the car.” – she added. “There was another car in front of him. They opened it, they opened it easily… They hit the other car, it was our second car,” – the owner emphasized.

The robber tried to get onto the highway, but was prevented by a pole. But that didn't stop him. He turned right and crashed into the car he and his accomplice had previously pushed to get away.

“They called me at 06:00 and said that a car was blocking the road, and I went in to look at the cameras remotely and saw that one car was missing,” – emphasizes the owner.

The owner of the car witnessed a similar situation when her car was stolen from under her house last summer. “This is the second time they have done this to us, in August they took her from under the house, but this does not happen outside the store.” – she emphasizes.

It is noteworthy that the car thieves abandoned the car; a day later it was found by authorities in another area and returned to the owner.
