The Menidi mother-of-two's killer's cynicism is off the charts: 'I cut her until she dropped dead.'
50 year old killer tells CNN Greece, confessed to his crime and described in detail his decision and its implementation in relation to his ex-wife. He stabbed her more than ten strokes:
“I decided from yesterday that I would kill her, I was sober, I didn’t drink. After the crime, I calmed down, and even felt very dizzy, so at some point I got lost on the spot and, fortunately, I was not hit by a passing car…”
Homicide detectives saw before them a cold-blooded and cynical man, calmly describing how he left the house in the morning, threw the garbage into the bin, and began preparing for planned murder ex-spouses:
“I thought about it very carefully and made the decision the night before. I knew what time she went to the store where she worked, and without wasting any time, I took a knife from the house and went to where I knew she would go to work. As soon as I saw her coming, I walked up to her and started cutting her until she dropped dead. Then I left there on foot, went to spend the night at a hotel for two hours, and when I left there, I looked for light alcohol and began to wander the streets.”
A little later, he told police how he was in danger from a car while he was drunk after stabbing a woman to death a few hours earlier. He complained to the police about his obsession with his ex-wife, but did not mention his two teenage children, who survived the murder of their mother by their own father.
This morning he will appear before the prosecutor on charges of manslaughter (?!) Murder.
