Pakistani factions clash in Mykonos, leaving one dead

Documentary footage has emerged of a confrontation between Pakistani men outside a complex of rented rooms where foreigners working for well-known catering companies in Mykonos were staying.

One Pakistani was killed in a drunken brawl. According to an eyewitness, the fight was related to an incident that occurred the day before, that is, on Thursday, May 9, when, for an unknown reason, two Indians living in this complex and a Pakistani living in another area of Mykonos got into a fight. The three men argued, but nothing else happened at that moment. However, on Friday, the Pakistani returned to the hotel complex along with 15 of his compatriots in search of two Indians who had gone missing from their room.

“The Pakistanis were drunk and I tried to take them away” – says an eyewitness working in the rooms. “While I was trying to calm them down, they started throwing stones and swearing, causing the remaining residents, all Pakistanis, about 70-80 people in total, to come out of their rooms. – he adds. – I then continued to try to calm them down and drive them away, but the Pakistanis who came to find the two Indians became even more angry and began attacking their compatriots living in the house. One of them took out a knife and tried to stab another, with whom they had an argument, when he tried to immobilize and disarm him. A struggle ensued, and at some point the defender grabbed a knife from the attacker and stabbed him in the heart, causing him to fall to the ground, bleeding.”

Immediately, two other Pakistanis from the group of 15 people put the wounded man on a motorcycle and took him to the medical center. There he was pronounced dead. A Pakistani man who stabbed his fellow countryman to death in self-defense has taken refuge in an island shelter and is wanted by police. According to other sources, the Pakistanis who were attacked live in the residential complex legally and until recently had no rights.
