In Sperchiada, a few hours before the anniversary of the dictatorship on April 21, unknown persons raised the flag of the “junta of black colonels” in the warehouses of the Lamia agricultural cooperative.
After this became known from a local report, the manager went to the warehouse, removed the junta flag and raised the canonical Greek flag instead.
Macrakomi deputy mayor Panos Kontogiorgos said the junta flag was spotted yesterday at noon and this is the first time such a thing has happened in the area. By order of the prosecutor, a case has been opened regarding the incident, and a search is underway for the culprit or culprits.
