A new incident of bullying among minors in a primary school is causing concern.
According to the local website, everything happened in the Zarouleika area in Patras. A seven-year-old (!) boy beat (and filmed a video on his phone) an 8-year-old school student. This all happened in front of two other children, his brothers, and was then uploaded to TikTok. The footage shows the victim of violence screaming in pain.
The child came home in tears and told his mother what had happened to him. Later, the woman saw with her own eyes the scene of her son’s beating, and was horrified. The victim's mother found the child's father, who is in second grade. And the man apologized to her for what happened.
“How can a seven year old have a cell phone and use TikTok? Be able to upload videos and… film beating your classmate to get views on social networks! This is a nightmare!” complains the victim’s mother, reports the website flamis.gr.
The child’s uncle, in a conversation with journalists from the publication “Γνώμη,” for his part, emphasized: “I think that something like this should be heard by all people, parents. My nephew still has hematomas, his eye is swollen. We know this family, and they are not gypsies. I say this because many people began to blame everyone.”
The father of a 7-year-old child spoke about the various challenges the child faces, highlighting that he is also homeschooled. However, the victim's mother is considering filing a lawsuit, and the child is still in shock.
