Hezbollah fires 50 rockets into northern Israel

Tensions are rising in the Middle East amid rumors of Iran retaliating against Israel.

Tel Aviv confirmed that Hezbollah has launched a massive wave attacks into northern Israel, firing 40 to 50 rockets, which were almost completely intercepted by Israeli air defenses. The interception was mainly carried out by MIM-104 “Patriot” systems installed in the northern sector.

About 40 launches from Lebanese territory were detected, some of them were intercepted. The IDF air defense array successfully intercepted 2 Hezbollah UAVs that crossed into Israeli territory from Lebanon this evening.

Footage showing dozens of interceptions of Israeli Iron Dome and MIM-104 Patriot air defense batteries over Northern Israel in the last few minutes following a large barrage of missiles and drones launched by Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon. In my opinion, this may be an attempt to deplete Israel's stock of surface-to-air missile batteries in the north of the country before a larger attack using cruise and other more advanced ground-based missiles.

An official representative of the US Department of Defense told FOX about the transfer of forces and assets to the Middle East region – against the backdrop of an expected Iranian attack on Israel. US Department of Defense Spokesperson: “We are deploying additional capabilities to the region to bolster regional deterrence efforts and strengthen the protection of U.S. forces.”

Meanwhile, an unidentified object, likely a missile, was spotted in northwestern Iraq near the Syrian border.

An unidentified aerial object was spotted in the sky over the city of Sinjar, near the border with Syria.

Crashing Iran. Thousands of sightings of this flying object over Iraq, as well as reports from Iran.

But as it turned out, this object was a test of a ballistic missile not in Iraq, but in… Russia, it was launched from a test site in Kapustin Yar.
