Thessaloniki: a minor reported that his father abused his mother

A 50-year-old man was arrested in Thessaloniki after a telephone complaint from his 15-year-old son. The adolescent reported his father's abusive behavior toward both his mother and himself. After the child received a call from a family friend saying his mother was not feeling well, he called 100.

“I thought that dad had hit mom again, and immediately called 100. I was far away and thought I wouldn’t make it in time. I feel like I have to protect my mom.
