The Hellenic Police Headquarters has decided to extend the opening hours of 81 offices where identity documents are issued. Offices are located throughout the country to provide more efficient and faster service to citizens when issuing the new type of ID.
The new timetable will come into effect from Tuesday 19 March. Identification offices in specific police services will now operate extended hours during the week, excluding Sundays and public holidays, as follows:
- From Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 21:00 in the summer season (and accordingly from 07:30 to 21:30 in the winter season),
- Saturday from 08:30 to 17:30.
Offices of other services continue to work from 07:00 to 14:30 in the summer season and from 07:30 to 15:00 in the winter season on all working days of the week except Wednesday (opening hours from 14:00 to 20:30) and on Saturdays from 08:30 to 13:00.
In addition, if a citizen wishes reschedule or cancel an appointmentthe function will be available for all services for issuing tavtotit from March 16, 2024. Services whose ID offices will operate in expanded mode:

Exarchia, Kolonos, Agios Panteleimon, Ampelokipi, Galatsi, Paleo Faliro, Agios Dimitrios, Vironas, Kaminia-Neo Faliro, Moschato-Tavros, Perama, Petroupoli, Agia Paraskevi, Amarousiou, Spata-Artemidos, Pagratio, Patision, Kallithea, Keratsini-Drapesonas , Nikaya-Agiou Ioannis Rentis, Peristeri, Kifisia, Glyfada, Nea Ionia, Papago-Holargou, Dionysos, Pallini, Alimos, Elliniko-Argyroupoli.
Thessaloniki
Ampelokipos-Menemeni, Delta, Thermi, Oreokastro, Chalkidona, Lefko Pyrgos, Toumbas Triandrias, Pilaya Hortiati, Kalamaria, Naples-Sikeon, Cordelio-Evosmos.
