An incident at the carnival in Patras – a participant in the festive action fell into a deep hole.
A 24-year-old young man was rushed by ambulance to the hospital. Fortunately, he escaped with minor bruises.
The incident occurred when he moved slightly away from the main traffic, into a space on Pantokratoros Street behind the Ancient Conservatory. On a surface overgrown with grass, the young man did not notice the hole and fell from a height of five meters, writes Thebest.gr.
Friends nearby watched in stupefaction as he instantly disappeared underground and urgently called the fire brigade and firefighters. Emergency workers freed the young man, who was not seriously injured.
