“Tourism for All”: application platform opens

On March 14, an electronic platform for submitting applications for participation in the Tourism for All 2024 program was opened. For the first time this year, beneficiaries will be given an increased voucher amount, up to 400 euros.

The platform is open and will remain open until 23:59 on Monday 1 April. To participate in the Tourism for All 2024 program, beneficiaries will be able to submit applications through a special platform.

The amount of assistance can be used for accommodation in tourist sites in Greece, will be provided after submitting an application and being selected by lottery (random selection), and will be transferred to an intangible digital card valid until December 31, 2024. Necessary conditions for inclusion in the Tourism for All 2024 program:

• File a return for tax year 2022.
• The annual family income must meet the criteria defined in the table of paragraph 2 of Article 2 of the relevant provision of the ministerial decision ΚΥΑ).

Once the process is completed, beneficiaries will receive an intangible digital debit card which they will use for hotel stays or other accommodations in the country.

Citizens who meet the following income criteria will be able to apply for the program. The program, which is an updated digital version of the Tourism for All 2022 program, provides an increased subsidy of 200 euros per beneficiary (from 150 euros issued last year). The amount of 300 euros is provided to individuals:

• unmarried or widow/s with dependent children, based on the latest confirmation when filing an income tax return for 2022,
• are married or are parties to a cohabitation agreement with three or more dependents (minor children), based on the most recent tax return for 2022. It is noted that you can refer to the presence of the above number of children in order to receive increased support once.
• pensioners of all funds with a final decision on the award of an old-age pension before 31.12.2022, who meet the conditions defined in the relevant joint ministerial decision.

A special provision for a higher subsidy of 400 euros is intended for people with disabilities with a disability of 67% or more, and beneficiaries with disabled children (with a disability of 67% or more).

Contactless payment and digital debit card amount redemption from any accommodation provider (hotels, lodging, etc.) can be made at any destination in the country, without geographical restrictions.

Immediate reimbursement to service providers (hotels and holiday home owners) puts an end to waiting and time-consuming bureaucratic procedures.

Withdrawal/repayment of the amount in a lump sum (or in installments) is possible until December 2024 to, among other things, support tourism outside the peak season. Citizens who meet the following requirements will be able to apply for participation in the program: income criteria:

Ne married or widowed

• Without children 19,000 euros.
• With 1 child 20,500 euros.
• With two children 22,000 euros.
• With 3 children 24,000 euros.
• If there are more children, 29,000 euros.

Spouses and partners

• Without children 31,000 euros
• With 1 child 32,500 euros.
• With 2 children 34,000 euros.
• With 3 children 36,000 euros.
• If there are more children, 41,000 euros.
