Houthis successfully test hypersonic missile

The Shiite Houthi group has successfully tested a hypersonic missile that reaches speeds of more than 10,000 km/h, the Times of Israel reports.

The hypersonic missile runs on solid fuel. The Houthis plan to begin producing it for use during attacks in the Red and Arabian Seas, and the Gulf of Aden, as well as against targets in Israel, the source added.

At the same time, the Houthis upgraded their missiles and drones with explosive warheads. The tests lasted three months, and the destructive power of the improved warheads doubled, he noted. If they do have such a missile, then this is an extremely important development, while the Greek frigate “HYDRA” is operating in the region.

The Yemen-based group said it would step up attacks during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, in a show of solidarity with Palestinians amid the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.

Months of Houthi attacks in the Red Sea have disrupted global shipping, forcing companies to redirect to longer, more expensive flights from South Africa, and fueling fears that the war between Israel and Hamas could widen and destabilize the entire Middle East.

According to other sources, Yemeni militants, who dealt a huge blow to international shipping, have already completed all the improvements to their anti-ship missiles and drones, which will allow them to double the power of their strikes.

It is clear that missiles and other weapons are not produced in Yemen, but somewhere in Iran or China, but the situation with the supply of weapons to Ukraine and Israel from the countries of the “collective West” has brought the world community to such a state that everyone has become completely ignore sanctions and prohibitions, and, in the end, common sense.
