An Old Believer from Corinth found a home for his family; his pregnant daughter had complications

The 45-year-old head of a family of hermits does not intend to return to the cave.

“I have found a home in Piraeus for my family,” 45-year-old Manolis Kalaitzidakis, head of a family of Old Believers who until recently lived as “savages” in mountainous Corinthia, told the SKAI channel. The man also mentioned the complications his daughter faced during pregnancy.

In particular, speaking on Sunday morning on the “Δεκατιανοί” program, M. Kalaitsidakis spoke about the serious problems that arose with his daughter, who was five months pregnant. According to him, the daughter was in the children’s hospital for a week next to her minor brother. However, due to nervous shock, her health deteriorated, and the pregnant woman was rushed to the Alexandra Hospital with bleeding and risk of miscarriage.

In addition, the man said that someone provided him with a house in Piraeus, and his child will now be able to go to school.

The 45-year-old recluse’s lawyer, Andreas Theodoropoulos, noted that Mr. Kalaitzidakis is now asking, firstly, for his child to be taken away from the children’s hospital, and secondly, for the justice system to “treat him as a normal person who will pay for his mistakes as he must.”

They wrote about the family of Old Believers and how they were discovered “Athens News”.
