Elite travelers from Russia are choosing European and eastern destinations, despite geopolitical difficulties.
This was reported by the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) with reference to the tour operator PAC Group. Among the most popular destinations for Russian VIP tourists is Greece, which is among the top five. Experts note:
“There is a growing interest in ski holidays in Europe: for example, according to data this winter, Courchevel showed an increase in attendance by 65%, and many other ski resorts have reopened to our compatriots.”
The demand in Turkey and the UAE also remains high among high-budget tourists. Pre-booking of tours to Turkey has increased by 75% compared to last year, writes Lenta.ru. AT ATOR They say:
“Turkey is becoming a year-round destination for VIP tourism, with the high-end segment in Istanbul continuing to show steady growth.”
