Payment of property tax (ENFIA) increases to 11 payments


In accordance with the amendment submitted by the Ministry of National Economy and Finance to Parliament, the amount of contributions for the payment of the so-called “Unified Property Tax” (ENFIA).

At the same time, the deadline for filing Form E9 property returns is being changed for those who want to make corrections, and properties affected by natural disasters are being exempted from paying ENFIA.

According to the proposed changes, this year ENFIA will be calculated in 11 monthly payments instead of 10, and The first payment is due on April 30, and the last payment is due on February 28, 2025.

Due to the increase in payments and the earlier issuance of ENFIA payment orders, taxpayers wishing to correct their property records this year (by adding or deleting property) will need to file an E9 by March 8, rather than the previous March 31 still.

According to the amendments, in 2025 the amount of contributions to repay ENFIA will increase to 12. Payslips will be posted online until the end of February, the first installment will be paid until the end of March, and the last installment will be paid in February next year. This means that corrections to property information listed on E9 must be made by January 31 of each year.
