This year, for the first time, a special Ermis White award was presented to encourage creativity.

The first was awarded to the Office of Communications of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis for a TikTok campaign that was “launched.”

The Prime Minister’s campaign has received more than 2 million likes and 42 million views.

The Prime Minister’s Director of Communications received the award on behalf of Kyriakos Mitsotakis. Director Kira Kapi emphasized that thanks to this particular communication platform, Kyriakos Mitsotakis had the opportunity to express himself naturally and directly show aspects of his character to citizens.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ Director of Communications, upon receiving the award, said: “If 11 years ago, when I started working with Kyriakos Mitsotakis, someone had told me that I would come here today to receive this award, I think I would have looked at him with great amazement. And yet we did it and “Thank you very much. To be completely honest, I want to say that it was very difficult to find a way to exist on this platform, to find a way that was not ‘boring’ and not at all ‘flashy’.”

In addition, he pointed out the reasons for the success of this action: “It all just came together, and since many are asking who is ultimately behind this infamous campaign, I will say that, firstly, it is the main character who, taking his job very seriously, does not afraid to crumple and show the world what we experience every day in the office. Secondly, a close-knit team that usually takes risks, and in this case it really worked to our advantage. And finally, an amazing tick-tock agency that taught us fluently speak Tick Tock and managed to translate our content into Tick Tock language. Thank you very much.”
