K. Bogdanos: "He was not "Alexander the gay"he was Alexander the Great"

Journalist Konstantinos Bogdanos, on the occasion of the release of the new Netflix series about Alexander the Great, made a statement that “Alexander the Great wasn’t gay, but even if he was, it wouldn’t make any difference to us“!

'Black' Cleopatra in Netflix 'documentary' sparks backlash

The alteration of the appearance of historical figures such as Cleopatra to suit the political situation was criticized for “distorting history”, and real battles broke out on social networks.

The series has already come under fire in conservative circles due to the love scenes between Alexander and Hephaestion.

Meanwhile, the documentary “Alexander: the creation of God”, chronicling the life of Alexander the Great (in a distorted form), which premiered on Netflix on Wednesday, February 1st, has sparked a flurry of reactions from angry viewers on social media. “We will also forget what we knew”– wrote one of the users. “Maybe we should start mass trials, like they did in Egypt?” – adds another.

Anyone who pays for a Netflix subscription should now understand that this act demonstrates low intelligence and a lack of self-esteem.

It is a vulgar and immoral platform that, without any scientific/historical basis, promotes an agenda that serves the interests of a community with dark and authoritarian practices reminiscent of the Middle Ages. It offers you absolutely nothing, on the contrary, it dumbs you down, makes you worse in every aspect of your life, takes significant time away from your spiritual development, fills you with unsustainable false information, and promotes immorality and the “cultivation” of society.

We encounter this agenda in every science; even history has not spared us. Why do they do this? Think about the greatest civilization that appeared on the planet, about the greatest historical figure – the Greeks and Alexander. Now think about the fact that there are those who are frantically trying to convince, falsifying historical sources or creating new ones, that this civilization and Alexander were filmoids who engaged in orgies.

Does this help you? This helps you create models as you wish. To the complete humiliation of the greatest civilization that arose and gave the basis of science throughout the entire earth. Since the wisest of all did it, who are we to say otherwise?

Look what the greatest man who ever lived did. It doesn’t matter that historically we know that homosexuality was outright prohibited in Greece (I’ve made countless posts, anyone can search on my account. I’ve made at least 5-6 posts on laws, myths, stories, etc. along with ancient texts and sources, and I have also referred to almost all the distortions of non-historical ignoramuses who try to distort ancient texts).

So it doesn’t matter that in Ancient Greece it was expressly forbidden to be gay, and you had no right to vote, join the military, or almost any right or office. The traitors to whom we have given the reins of our society know that people do not read ancient texts when they know they will never know what the truth is. Even if you recognize it, they will back you into a corner and you will not be able to counter them with sources and that is how they will win.

So progressives rely on the ignorance of the majority to advance their right-wing agenda. Now imagine how evil and what dark plans someone must have in their head to frantically try to do this. This is who you will have to deal with in your life.

I’m glad for one thing. Because indignation grows from what they do, people get tired. Life will come full circle, and when all this paranoia, designed to prevail over the senseless state and the disappearance of reason, unfolds, then we will laugh at the end at all those who are now struggling under the cloak of so-called humanism, but hidden irrationality.

Stay away from actions and situations that are immoral and irrational. Fight for values, for ideals, for virtues. Be moral like virtuous people. #Cancel_NetflixGR Start with this.”

“Athens News” reported previously about the negative reaction of Greeks and Egyptians to the release of an alleged documentary film in which Cleopatra, the Greek queen of Ancient Egypt, is presented as one of the “black queens of Africa.”

'Black' Cleopatra in Netflix 'documentary' sparks backlash

The alteration of the appearance of historical figures such as Cleopatra to suit the political situation was criticized for “distorting history”, and real battles broke out on social networks.

The poster and trailer for the “documentary” portray the legendary queen of Egypt as black, contrary to history and depictions in art. In the comments on YouTube, no one defends the “blackened” Cleopatra, and Egyptians are calling on Netflix to read at least a little about the Egyptians and the history of Egypt.
