Metropolitan Nektarios of Kerkyra on gay marriage (video)

The Greek hierarch, Metropolitan Nektarios of Kerkyra, said in an interview with the Greek TV channel ACTION 24 that the homosexual “family” is a perversion.

He also noted writes publication of the UOJ that the Church adheres to a line regarding gay marriage, which it has no right to change:

“I cannot change it and tell my people: “Look, there is a normal, natural family, but there is also a family that comes from perversion.”

And he emphasized that the Church does not interfere either in the work of the state or in legislation, but the state must also respect the Church. At the end of the interview, Metropolitan remarked:

“No matter what you say about me personally, people who love God and experience the truth of Christ feel that this family is not normal, but a perversion.”
