Masks are returning indoors – concern over rising coronavirus outbreaks

The meeting of the expert committee on the issue has ended re-introducing the mask regime in hospitals and institutions for people with health problems.

Finally, the scientists also emphasized the need for an information campaign for physicians on the use of antiviral drugs that prevent severe COVID-19 disease, hospitalization, intubation, and death.

Disease outbreak

The recent outbreak of viral diseases, particularly seasonal influenza and coronavirus, is of widespread concern. According to EODY, on Wednesday, December 27, 128 free sample testing events were conducted at central locations in 61 regional districts of the country, during which 9,259 rapid tests were conducted and 1,625 positive cases (17.55%) were identified. Of these, 831 were men and 794 women, with an average age of 57 years.
