Arachova: Abuse of husky… not confirmed

Intergalactic investigation into the abuse and torture to death of the husky Oliver in Arachova to investigators homicide department The Athens Police Department had to start from scratch. The reason is that there were too many contradictions in this case, and the previous data turned out to be an invention of the dog owner.

A loud scandal involving the abuse of a husky dog caused loud indignation and concern among the public. Almost all major Greek media supported by the state took an active part in it.

The case was given importance by the direct participation of Deputy Minister of Labor Adonis Gergiadis, as well as Deputy Prosecutor of the Supreme Court Anastasia Masura, who is responsible for animal protection. Megaro Maximo received a command, according to which the Minister of Citizen Protection Ioannis Ikonoma was involved in the case, who promised the country’s leadership to make every conceivable effort to find and strictly punish the culprit of the dog’s death.

After such a serious pumping up of the police and prosecutor’s office, a whole landing party of investigators from the capital’s homicide department (!!!) was sent to Arachova from Athens, who literally began to dig the ground in search of the attackers responsible for the death of the dog.

A team of specialist pathologists was also sent to Arachova, who exhumed Oliver’s corpse and promised to deliver it to one of the country’s universities for a thorough examination.

Everyone who was in one way or another involved in this case was summoned to the investigation headquarters established at the local police department to give evidence again.

Owner’s testimony and contradictions

Yesterday (7/12) the owner gave evidence again, which lasted approx. five o’clock. However, the police found many contradictions in his testimony, especially regarding times and dates.

On days when the owner reports the dog not leaving the house, some city residents have reportedly seen Oliver wandering around the area.

“I collaborated very well with the police officers for quite a long time. I passed on any information that I had to them for investigation. I told them about all the places where he walked, described all his routes.”says Oliver’s owner, who will likely be called to testify again.

What happened to the husky?

According to the latest information given to Live News by the police editor of the newspapers To Vima and Ta Nea, Vassilis Lampropoulos, the question for the police is what exactly happened to the dog.

As he said, the second examination does not confirm the conclusions of the first veterinarian, who stated that cruel treatment of the husky was anatomically proven. There are witnesses who heard that there was a dog attack and a lot of barking when Oliver was nearby.

Also, according to some reports, Professor the veterinarian, who was supposed to be sending evidence of the dog’s exhumation, saw photographs of Oliver and told officers that does not confirmthat ill-treatment occurred.

The veterinarian is now called to appear before officers again to follow up on her first statement.

According to the latest information, there are witnesses who heard that there was an attack by a dog and many several dogs.

All of the above evidence comes together to determine whether abuse occurred and who committed it.

Oliver’s impromptu burial

Meanwhile, the outrage of animal rights activists knew no bounds when they learned from investigators how carelessly the body of the poor little dog was buried. It turns out they simply buried him in a hole and covered him with earth.

The owner, speaking to Live News, said that he did not bury the dog himself because he could not bear the sight.

“My friend took care of it because I was in shock and didn’t want to be there. I was in the house for two and a half days when my dog was dead and I couldn’t… And they brought the dog to me in bags and after autopsy”, – he said.

Police officers exhuming the poor dog dug up Oliver’s body, which was in a black bag under the bridge, and they said the sight was repulsive. The animal was not buried in a special coffin, but was simply covered with earth. The poor animal now only has bones left…

The prosecutor’s office of the Supreme Court of Appeal ordered an urgent preliminary examination into the painful death of the animal.

The owner told Live News that he did not want to participate in the exhumation process of his pet.

“I don’t know exactly what the authorities want. I know for sure that the authorities ordered the exhumation. I don’t have anything official that they did it. I don’t want to see anything. I have so many cruel images. Starting with the first photo “Olivera. The vet’s seeing me for all this. I want to calm down,” – he said.

What about the cameras?

At the same time, Oliver’s owner responded regarding the surveillance cameras that he allegedly tore down and destroyed. It turns out that he wanted cameras in his house, but was unable to buy them. “There are no cameras here and I wish I had cameras so I could have some evidence. I’ve never had cameras in the house.”he clarified.

Efi Granitsioti, the owner’s lawyer, also spoke to Live News about the reasons why the dog’s owner went to the police station to give further statements.

“He was questioned as a witness and not as a suspect, I was not with him. He gave evidence relating to Oliver’s life and living conditions. He explained what happened on the day he found him wounded and described the nightmare that which he lives”said the lawyer.

In conclusion she said: “We have no idea who he might be. The only information that has reached our ears is that the homicide department has gone out to find the culprit.”

In connection with the above, I would like to ask 2 questions:

  1. Who will pay for the entire circus that is happening?
  2. When will the organizer of this clownery apologize to the residents of Arachova for his fastwith which he greatly harmed the city’s tourism industry.

However, taking into account both the personality of the minister and the current situation, the question of the author of the publication can be considered rhetorical.
