Despair dominates the emotions of the Greeks who find themselves “trapped” at Munich Airport. Due to snowfall in southern Germany, flights have been canceled and thousands of passengers have been stranded at the airport for three days.
On the morning of December 3, several planes took off, but then again there was a message that there were new “air traffic disruptions.” Stranded Greek travelers complain writes newsbeast.gr:
“It is unheard of for us to be locked here without finding a solution. We sleep on armchairs, we have no money. We were “abandoned at the airport.” We are told to find a hotel and pay for it out of our own pockets. If we go outside the airport, we won’t be able to come back.”
The Greek woman, who was flying to Manchester with a stopover in Munich, said: “It’s unheard of to be trapped here with no way to sleep or take a bath.”
