Earthquake 7.6 on the Richter scale in the southern Philippines, tsunami warning (video)

Tsunami warnings have been issued in several regions of Japan following a strong earthquake in the Philippines. Information about the threat appeared on the website of the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA). The tsunami, whose waves are estimated to be one meter high, is likely to reach Japan early Sunday morning local time (Saturday evening in Greece), public broadcaster NHK said.

No casualties or damage have yet been reported in the Philippines, but police officer Joseph Lampa in Hinatuan said the quake was “very strong.”
