In an interview with The Sun, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky answered a question about the attempts on his life and spoke about Operation Maidan-3.
How tells BB.LV, the President has full information from the intelligence services, including about the Russian plan to remove him from power. He says Moscow is still very keen to remove him from the country’s leadership. One of the Russian missions, according to him, is planned for the end of 2023:
“The operation is called ‘Maidan-3’, it is aimed at replacing the president. It may not be through assassination. They will use whatever tools they have.”
In an interview with The Sun, Vladimir Zelensky spoke about attempts on his life; according to him, he has already lost count of the attempts to kill him since the beginning of the full-scale invasion:
“The first attempt is very interesting when it’s the first, and then everything goes like clockwork. Firstly, people don’t know what to do, and it looks very scary. And then intelligence just shares with you the details that another group has arrived in Ukraine , to [попытаться] do it.”
When asked by a journalist whether Ukraine had made attempts on the lives of pro-Russian figures in the occupied territories, the President of Ukraine responded as follows:
“I cannot discuss with you any special operations of the Ukrainian intelligence, secret service or any special forces. There are some points that we do not discuss.”
