"Tourism for everyone": conditions for participation in the winter holiday program

The site of the “Tourism for All” program opens. Beneficiaries will be able to take advantage of the program for recreation, including in winter.

This is the second cycle of the program, within which the undistributed amounts of the “Tourism for All 2022-2023” (“Τουρισμός για Όλους”) program will be transferred. Until now, the economy holiday program with €150 and €200 vouchers followed the Social Tourism programme, with the application platform opening in the summer, but this year’s elections and subsequent natural disasters delayed the launch of the programme.

According to sources in the ministry, the possibility of both a slight increase in the voucher amount and the expansion of criteria for the participation of a larger number of beneficiaries cannot be ruled out. In particular, the scenario of increasing the cost of a trip from 150 euros to 200 euros is being considered, while the amount for disabled people can reach 400 euros. Income criteria may be changed and social criteria may be added to give priority to, among other things, single-parent and large families. According to last year’s Official Gazette, beneficiaries are those who meet the following income criteria:

  • For single people, the maximum income is set at 16,000 euros.
  • Families with 1 child income 17,500 euros.
  • With 2 children, income is 19,000 euros.
  • With 3 children, income is 21,000 euros.
  • For families with many children, the maximum income is 26,000 euros.

It is worth noting that “outside” the program are those who was selected as a beneficiary of the AEDR Social Tourism Program for the period 2022-2023 and 2023-2024, and DYPA respectively, regardless of whether they used the service or not. And were also selected as beneficiaries of the Evia-Samos Pass program or related service provided by any other body for the same period of implementation of the program.
